Terms of service

These are the terms between you and Sammy for using Sammy. They are short because the service is simple: you sign up, we send you a briefing.

Last updated 9 September 2026

The service

Sammy is a daily email briefing for people working in the luxury industry. It arrives on weekday mornings, Monday to Friday, UK time, shaped to the sector and role you choose.

Lite is free. Pro is a paid monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout, currently £29 a month, with VAT included. What Pro adds is set out on the plans page at the time you subscribe.

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice.

Your account

An account is for one person. You need to be at least 18 and to give an email address you control, because that is where the briefing goes and how you sign in. Keep it accurate: if we cannot reach you, we cannot send the briefing.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Sign-in is by a one-time code to your email, so keep your inbox secure. Tell us at human@agentsammy.ai if you think someone else has access.

Acceptable use

The briefing is for you to read and to share the way you would share any email: forward a story to a colleague, quote it in a meeting. You may not:

  • scrape, harvest or systematically copy the briefings into another product, database or service;
  • resell the briefing, or offer access to it as part of a paid product;
  • share one account between several people, or sign up on behalf of someone who has not asked;
  • use the service in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.

If you want to do something these rules do not allow, ask us. Team plans are on their way.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro is billed monthly in pounds sterling through Stripe, our payment provider. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel it. The price at the time you subscribe is the price you pay; if it changes, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price.

You can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing. Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

We do not refund partial months, except where the law gives you that right. If you are a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days from the start of a paid subscription to change your mind; if you have received briefings in that time, we may deduct an amount for the service you have had.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over a few days and we email you to update your card. If it still fails, the subscription is cancelled and you return to Lite. Nothing is lost: your account, sector and role stay as they were.

Trials

A Pro trial may be included when you sign up, or unlocked with an access code. A trial ends automatically on the date shown in your account and you return to Lite. We do not take a card for a trial, and we never convert a trial into a paid subscription without you choosing to subscribe.

Content

Each story in the briefing is a summary of reporting published elsewhere, with a link to the source. We are not the publisher of the underlying stories and we do not control them. If a link leads to a paywall, that is the publisher’s choice, not ours.

Summaries are produced by a system we run and check, but they can contain errors. Read the source before you act on a story. Nothing in the briefing is investment, legal or professional advice.

The briefing, its structure and the sections we add (such as The Number and In The Room) are ours. The stories they summarise belong to their publishers.

Availability

We work hard to send the briefing every weekday morning, and we monitor every send. Even so, a morning can be missed, delayed or thinner than usual: a source may go quiet, a provider may have an outage, or we may hold a send rather than send something we are not happy with. A missed morning is not a breach of these terms. If Pro is unavailable for a sustained period, contact us and we will put it right.

Ending the relationship

You can stop at any time: unsubscribe from the briefing, cancel Pro, or delete your account from your account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to stop the service. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault while you are paying for Pro, we refund the unused part of your current month.

Our liability

We provide Sammy with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, the service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular decision you make with it.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms or the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or business decisions taken on the basis of a story.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep any protections your local law gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. For changes that affect you, we will email you before they take effect. If you keep using Sammy after that date, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with them, you can cancel and stop using the service.
